Today's OnePlus catalog welcomes a new category of products that the company hasn't introduced yet. The company announced the arrival of its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, which arrived to position itself in the high-end category by incorporating some of the most advanced features seen so far in a device of this type.

The OnePlus Pad is being introduced to the market, according to the brand itself, with the aim of bringing the fast and fluid experience that is characteristic of the company's devices to a new segment. We will review all its features and details.

The tablet has an 11.61-inch diagonal LCD screen and its body is made of dark green aluminum alloy, weighs 552 grams, and has a minimum thickness of 6.54 mm. The screen has a Full HD resolution, 7:5 format, and 2.5D curvature in the glass that protects it, in addition to being the first in the tablet to reach a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is also compatible with Dolby Vision.

The panel has a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels.

Inside it houses a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, which is a high-end chip and is equipped with a Cortex X2 core capable of clocking at 3.05GHz. It is built on TSMC's 4nm process, and according to the brand it comes with 35% improved performance and 37% reduced power consumption compared to the Dimensity 9100 processor.

All this is linked by 12 GB of RAM and a 9510 mAh battery, which according to the brand can provide up to 14.5 hours of autonomy during video playback. Its charging technology is 67 W SuperVOOC, which allows the battery to be fully recharged in about 80 minutes.

OnePlus placed particular emphasis on the multimedia section of the tablet, highlighting its multi-directional audio technology that allows the screen orientation to be intelligently selected, and the left and right audio channels are automatically switched to generate a surround sound effect. It also includes Dolby Atmos audio support.

In addition to the tablet, OnePlus has introduced a magnetic keyboard and smart pen, both of which are compatible with the tablet.

It will be launched on April 28, 2023, and will be available globally through the brand's official online store at a price of $499. For their part, the OnePlus Stylo Magnetic Keyboard accessories cost approximately $99 and the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard is priced at $149. A protective case, the OnePlus Folio, will also be on sale for $59.
