The Chinese company Vivo today officially launched its new phone, called "Vivo Y30 5G" in Thailand. The new Vivo Y30 5G is an affordable 5G phone from the brand and comes with a Dimensity 700 chip, a 5,000 mAh battery, and dual 50MP rear cameras.

The Vivo Y30 5G has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, HD+ display quality, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen has a waterdrop notch and a thick bottom bezel. The company also claims to offer a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. There is a fingerprint sensor embedded in the device's power button. The phone also carries support for face unlock.
As for performance, the Vivo Y30 5G has a Dimensity 700 chipset backed by 6GB of RAM, 2GB of extended RAM, 128GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device is running Android 12 operating system with FunTouch OS 12 UI. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging only.
The Vivo Y30 5G has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The rear has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and an LED flash. It offers connectivity features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is 8.25 mm thick and weighs approximately 193 grams.
The Vivo Y30 5G is a modified version of the iQOO U5e phone. The only difference between the two models is that the iQOO U5e supports 18W charging.
The price of the Vivo Y30 5G is equivalent to (237 USD). The device comes in two colors, such as Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy.
